Team Members

Hello reader, I’m Raquel! I’m a sweet and goofy girl of about three and a half years old. I’m usually calm and laidback but take a little time to warm up to new people and I can be a bit vocal when I’m nervous 🙊 However, once I’m comfortable with someone, they’ve got a friend for life, and I’ve got a lot of love to give!

I get along super well with other doggies and have a little girl gang here at the shelter that I love spending my days with.

I walk well on leash but sometimes get a bit nervous about exploring new places and need a bit of encouragement or better yet, a canine walking partner to show me that it’s okay!

I’d do best in a house that already has some dogs so I have some friends to help me build my confidence.

A fun fact about me? I’m missing my front teeth! I don’t really remember why, but it doesn’t really impact me. I can still eat and drink like any other doggo. And it means for me the saying “my bark is worse than my bite” is really true!
